ABOUT
Colette is a professional artist based in Somerset painting the coastlines and city streets of the UK
'My work is about light, trying to catch the moment in rich and vibrant oil paints. Fresh mark-making with brush and knife, painting en plein air or in the studio, I enjoy trying to find the unusual view. Enabling the viewer to see a subject in a new way.’
Colette has exhibited widely in London, Bristol, Bath and in the Netherlands.
Her works have been accepted for judged exhibitions including the Royal West of England Academy, the Royal Society of Marine Artists, The Society of Women Artists and The Pastel Society.
Colette is an RWA Artist Network member
